Peanut Butter Jam
Peanut Butter Jam is a fun piece that honors the wonderful creation of peanut butter and also the PB & J! Students will need to decide over creamy or crunchy, though both are great!
The piece consists mainly of two contrasting ideas: a march-like ostinato pattern and a smooth, lyrical melodic line. Brass players will have the opportunity to work on their lip slur between concert Bb and F, most notably from measure 24-28. Be sure that students give full value to each quarter note in this section, as opposed to the shorter eighth notes.
